If I were to ask you what subject is being taught in schools today that wasn’t being taught when you were going to school, I would suspect that many of you might say: computer science, but in far, far too many cases, that answer would be incorrect because computer science is not being taught in many schools today. When people are asked to name just one organization that is effectively addressing the gender gap in high tech and computer science, the name that springs to mind is Girls Who Code.
