And for this edition of Better Than Most, we’ll be visiting the New York offices of IRC, the International Rescue Committee. They respond to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and help people survive and rebuild their lives. And to do this effectively, you need to have a great workplace culture, which as you will hear, IRC most certainly does.

And tonight, we’ll be taking a trip to 138th St. in the Bronx into the offices of Per Scholas. They provide tuition-fee technology training to unemployed or underemployed adults for careers as IT professionals. We’ll begin with their CEO Plinio Ayala and then we’ll hear from other members of the team on what makes their corporate culture so special.
