It was 160 years ago, 1859, that The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art was established. It is one of the most distinguished, interesting, and historic institutions of higher education in the country, and one that has faced some significant financial challenges in recent years. Here with us tonight to talk about all of that and much more is Laura Sparks, the 13th President of The Cooper Union.
