Today in the United States, if the wealth of White households remains stagnant, it would take Black families 228 years to catch up. That’s more than 10 generations. The philanthropic community is poised and duty-bound to champion reparations for Black individuals and cultivate a reparative culture as essential steps toward healing and restoration.
