Deborah Borda, President & CEO of the New York Philharmonic, Joins Denver Frederick
Managing an arts institution in the 21st century like the New York Philharmonic is one of the most daunting challenges that any leader could face, whether in the profit or nonprofit world. There are many who would say that there’s absolutely no one better at doing this than my next guest. She led the New York Philharmonic in the 1990s, went out to California for 17 years to become the CEO of the LA Philharmonic, and is now back in New York for a second tour of duty. And it’s a great pleasure to have her with us tonight. She is Deborah Borda, the president and CEO of the New York Philharmonic.
